advertisement:

The TX37 Freescale i.MX37 processor-based System on Module (SOM) from Strategic Test (Woburn, MA) measures just 67.6mm x 26mm x 4.2 mm. It contains a 532 MHz i.MX37 processor coupled with 128 MB mobile DDRSDRAM, 128 MB NAND flash memory, and a 200-pin SODIMM connector. The TX37 is pin-compatible with the existing TX27 i.MX27 processor-based module. Both modules can be supplied with the Development Kit-5 hardware reference platform that includes support for Microsoft Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

The TX37 features 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, high-speed USB 2.0 OTG, and a true color LCD controller. Multimedia includes a multi-standard hardware video decoder at D1 30 fps. The Image Processing Unit includes a display processor (resizing, inversion, rotation) and CSC.

The TX37 also features a Vector Floating Point Unit, two 4-wire UARTs, I2C, SSI/AC97/I2S, two 4- wire SDIO, keypad 5x5 support, and universal 1.8V interfaces. The TX37 module accepts an input voltage from various sources: cell Li-Ion/Polymer (3.0V to 4.2V), 5.0V USB supply or AC wall adapter, and 3.3V. Up to 1A of output current on either the 1.8V or 3.3V power supply outputs of the TX27 module can be used to power the carrier board.
