The new PRISMA II series of RGB/DVI/ Video Converter Boards from Apollo Display Technologies (Ronkonkoma, NY) provides a range of solutions with analog control for connecting TFT LCDs to standard graphics and video interfaces. Input signals such as analog RGB, analog video or DVI are automatically converted into TTL or LVDS signals accepted by TFT displays.
PRISMA II series boards scale the input signal to the appropriate TFT resolutions as needed. The OSM (on-screen menu) enables users to make adjustments to any of the LCS’s display attributes including brightness, contrast, color, and auto adjustments. An external OSD (on-screen display) control button board is also available. The boards support TFT displays from 6.4"to 82" diagonal with 6-bit and 8-bit color depth and are single- and dual-channel LVDS supported. Other features include Component Video-in, WUXGA (1920×1200), power supply options up to 24V, remote OSD control over RS232, and picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-by-picture (PBP) functions that allow two input sources to be displayed simultaneously.
